February 8, 2024 - Real estate investment management firm Crestlight Capital in Detroit, MI, and Sabal Investment Holdings in Irvine, CA, are expanding their joint venture storage partnership by buying 312,000 square feet of class A warehouse space near Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus.

September 28, 2023 - Detroit real estate firm Crestlight Capital plans to spend more than $20 million to makeover one of SouthPark's most recognizable properties. Crestlight paid $192.5 million for SouthPark Towers at 6000 and 6100 Fairview road in May 2022, and later announced plans to renovate and update the property's outdated amenities, lobbies and shared spaces.

March 14, 2023 - Crestlight Capital, the Detroit-headquartered real estate investment firm, in partnership with Sabal Investment Holdings, an investment management firm based in Irvine, California, serving institutional investors across the U.S., has announced its acquisition of four Class A warehouse industrial buildings totaling 1.1 million square feet near the Detroit Metro Airport.

May 18, 2022 - Crestlight Capital, the Detroit and New York City-based private equity real estate investment firm, in partnership with an institutional investor, announced its recent acquisition of SouthPark Towers. The transaction represents Crestlight’s first office investment in Charlotte and fourth investment over the past 16 months totaling over $500 million of enterprise value.

Morgan bought four adaptive reuse properties totaling more than 360K SF in the West Midtown market from four different parties, the companies announced last month. The joint venture paid $114M for the portfolio it is now dubbing the Westside Collective, McAlpine said.

April 5, 2021 - Milwaukee Downtown BID #21, the Downtown Placemaking Task Force and Schlitz Park selected artist Greg Gossel to create a mural on the south-facing facade of the former Schlitz Brewery powerhouse building. The 10,000-square-foot mural is the group’s largest mural commissioning to date and will measure 80 feet high by 120 feet wide.

December 28, 2020 - The Riverplace office complex near St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis has been sold and will undergo extensive renovations next year, according to the new owners. The purchase includes four buildings that sit on four acres right on the Mississippi River and across from downtown Minneapolis.

July 29, 2020 - About $6 million in renovations are planned at the Schlitz Park office campus in downtown Milwaukee to add more dining, communal spaces and new amenities. The renovations are the first announced for the 32-acre property since it sold to TPG Real Estate and Crestlight Capital in early 2019 and are expected to be completed by Summer 2021.

After the founder of New York-based investment firm Crestlight Capital purchased the 11-story 730 Peachtree, he pumped $6M into major renovations that include a new lobby and common area with suspension swings, space for a bar and restaurant and a third-floor social hub.
